Blonde hair usually goes good with a pink skin tone and blue or green eyes. Blonde hair colors are not flattering to dark skin or dark eyes. It actually can make you look older and washed out. You may want to try a semi permanent hair color before you commit to a new look. Looking for a color can be tricky. Don’t always trust the color on the box. The color will vary on your hair. Choosing your hair color from actual hair swatches is the most accurate way to pick a color.

Blonde Hair Coloring Tips

After you have decided what shade of blonde you want to be there are a few hair-coloring tips to follow. Never wash your hair the same day you are coloring your hair. Also wash your hair the day before for better results. Your hair should be completely dry before applying any color. Apply moisture around your hair line to prevent hair color from dying your skin on your face or neck.

If you are coloring your own hair, part hair into sections and apply color from the roots to the ends. Follow the packet directions and apply the color evenly. Leave the solution on for the time that the directions say, and then rinse hair out with warm water for 5 minutes. Squeeze out excess water and apply conditioner that comes with the color kit. Do not wash your hair for a few days for best results.

Remember that semi permanent color washes out with each shampoo and it will gradually fade. Touch up your hair color regularly to prevent your roots or gray from showing and to keep your hair color looking even.

I want to change my hair color before I go back to school, but I want something new. I have been a blonde my whole life; 19 years of it! I don’t object to being blonde, but I would like to hear from you all in what you think would suit me best. I wanna know what color for all-over color, high lights, low lights, etc. Whatever you think.

Here is a picture of me and my skin tone. Al though I am a little tanner now than I was in the picture. It’s not a virus or anything (It’s just off of Photobucket.com)

ALSO~~~~ I WOULD LIKE IT IF YOU COULD NAME DROP A CELEBRITY WHO HAS THE COLOR OF HAIR THAT YOU THINK WOULD LOOK BEST ON ME. It makes it easier for when I go to get it done, they can look at the picture and get it close to match.

Try the same color as your friend- it look nice, maybe a bit lighter

That depends on your skin tone. Choose a colour that looks good on you. If you’re not sure ask the stylist or ask a friend to help you based on colours you hold up next to your face. Do you like warm or cool colours? I hope you have a good time with this. A colour on black hair could be very dramatic.

I’m planning my sweet sixteen and I want to get a dress that would best flatter my hair color, skin tone, and eye color to make me pop.

My skin is a tanned/olive-ish color.
My hair color is a bunch of different shades of blonde and light brown (from the sun, not dyed)
And my eyes are a very light brown/slightly darker amber color.

So, what color dress should I get and what color make up should I use?

I donno, I think white would be cute with your dark skin.
