Question by Alex M: How to get purple hair dye out of bottom of bangs from blonde hair without it bleeding?
I have demi-permanent purple hair dye underneath my bangs and one other strip of my hair dyed. I am afraid that trying to remove the dye will cause it to bleed to other parts of my LIGHT blonde hair. Is there any way to safely remove or fade the purple dye without visiting the salon yet?

I would try calling a salon and asking them what to do. I did that before when i had trouble with my hair and they helped alot!! Make sure you call a good salon though and not a ghetto asss one :]

I have dark brown hair and i want to dye it a dark purple. Should i use a dark purple dye or a brighter purple since my hair is already dark and it will make the purple look dark? Also if i want a dark color do i need to bleach first because i wasn’t planning on it.

I want a bright purple dye that is conditioning (not harsh) that I can use a couple times between salon visits because my purplish-red highlights never last. I currently use a Goldwell dye but its too dark of a purple, so I need more of a magenta purple. Don’t recommend Hot Topic dyes, those just turn my hair back to black.
