i think u should go with streaks because then u can choose whether u want them thick-thin, spread out-close together etc….

touched up the faded hair colour of my dreads, that’s about it really…trying to get used to 5 mp mode, but damn you can see the smudge of lipstick on my chin and the pores in my nose fer chrissakes! i think i’ll stick to macros of other things that aren’t me; my camera scares me

_Belial a WFC member asked for help in C&C with a modelling assignment pitcure for his model’s portfolio. This image looked a little off so some investigation was done around colour by number for the skin tone
Most people are familiar with the RGB colour space; however, it’s easier to use CYMK rather than RGB values for checking skin tones and making corrections.

The rules are 1. Yellows should be greater or equal to Magenta. (In very fair skin like babies Y=M) and 2. Cyan is between 30% and 50% of the Magenta value. Closer to 50% looks a ghostly blue.
Looking at the original (_Belial’s left hand) image (assuming this is the original) – The yellow values in the skin are too low for the skin tone colours to match the rules defined above and the face looks a little too reddish around the cheek and hair areas.
Correcting to CMYK values and then skin smoothing and sharpening in the black channel and popping back into RGB mode I get the following which looks more natural and which should print a lot better than the original as the hair area was going out of gamut.

I noticed in a previous question someone asking about wanting to color their hair “dark sandy blonde”. Has anyone colored their hair this color and what did you use? I usually use dark blonde but there is too much red or brassiness in the dark blonde even when I use ash.

If there is too much brassiness or red/orange in it go to Sally Beauty Supply and get a packet or purple stuff(I believe its called Red/Gold Color Corrector)(its either in a little purple packet or a little tube type thing) to mix in with they dye. The purple counteracts the red/orange or brassiness. I use it all the time and it works. Go to Sally’s and ask them for a packet of the purple stuff you mix in with hair dye. I think is only like around a dollar per packet. You only need one packet per bottle or box of hair dye. I’m naturally a medium brown and lighten my hair to a medium blonde, sometimes (especially in the summer) I’ll go even a little lighter. But when I first started coloring my hair it would turn out orangish/redish until I found out about that purple stuff. Good Luck!

I am just curious since having recently changed my hair colour, I have had to cut off six inches off the ends because they could not get it to match the new colour. I have seen so many celebrities go from brown to blond and back to brown? How do they do it ?
