Blonde hair usually goes good with a pink skin tone and blue or green eyes. Blonde hair colors are not flattering to dark skin or dark eyes. It actually can make you look older and washed out. You may want to try a semi permanent hair color before you commit to a new look. Looking for a color can be tricky. Don’t always trust the color on the box. The color will vary on your hair. Choosing your hair color from actual hair swatches is the most accurate way to pick a color.

Blonde Hair Coloring Tips

After you have decided what shade of blonde you want to be there are a few hair-coloring tips to follow. Never wash your hair the same day you are coloring your hair. Also wash your hair the day before for better results. Your hair should be completely dry before applying any color. Apply moisture around your hair line to prevent hair color from dying your skin on your face or neck.

If you are coloring your own hair, part hair into sections and apply color from the roots to the ends. Follow the packet directions and apply the color evenly. Leave the solution on for the time that the directions say, and then rinse hair out with warm water for 5 minutes. Squeeze out excess water and apply conditioner that comes with the color kit. Do not wash your hair for a few days for best results.

Remember that semi permanent color washes out with each shampoo and it will gradually fade. Touch up your hair color regularly to prevent your roots or gray from showing and to keep your hair color looking even.

What color eyebrows look best on red hair?

Question by Katie Goodwin: What color eyebrows look best on red hair?
I naturally have a dark coppery red hair color, but really blonde (nearly transparent) eyebrows and eyelashes. I wear brown mascara, and recently ive been coloring my eyebrows a bit with a blond-ish colored eye pencil. Now I’m considering just getting my eyebrows tinted, because my eyebrows are still really light, and when I sweat (I’m an athlete) my eyebrows turn a little green and become un-natural looking because of the eye pencil. I just want my eyebrows to be visible and natural looking. Any advice on what color to get them tinted?

How much does a temporary hair dye change hair color?

Question by Caitlin: How much does a temporary hair dye change hair color?
The roots of my hair are quite a bit darker than the rest. My hair is light brown at the tips, and dark brown at the roots. If I used a temporary hair dye, that is only supposed to last for a few days to a few weeks to try to make all of my hair dark brown, would it work? Thank you!

VERY! Also you may end up with a orange-ish hair tone, I would recommend, slowly going back to blond, go in get it bleached wait a few days, do it again, wait a few days then dye it blond, because the bleach is going to be harsh on your hair, and the blond is too because of it being a drastic change.

Question by Victor: How can I dye my hair black without real hair dye?
I want to dye my hair black for Halloween. I don’t care if it’s black for a few days afterwards, but I don’t want something permanent. Is there any way to dye it black using stuff I might have around the house, or could buy at a grocery store? I don’t want to buy real hair dye. Thanks!
I ended up using shoe polish, and it worked really well!

go to like walmart or a halloween store around halloween and buy one of those cans of black hair spray and then it should wash out the next time you wash your hair unless your hair is blonde then it should wash out in one or two days.
