How do i remove permanent hair dye from my hair?

Question by Rember: How do i remove permanent hair dye from my hair?
So, I tried to dye it and it didn’t work. My hair is naturally black and i tried to dye it dark brown using blonde hair dye. But, i didn’t leave it in long enough and i have brown hair around my face but the rest is black. It looks stupid. I Just want it to go back. I wonder if shampooing it with shampoo that has sulfate take it out. Only a little bit of my hair is colored so I dont want to buy a black dye just for that.

Question by hot mama: How soon can I color my hair blonde when I have a semi permanent black hair color?
My original hair color is a light ash brown. I had it dyed about a month ago, black. We used a semi permanent hair dye. Now I want to go back to a light ash blonde like my hair was in high school. How long should I wait? Do I need to grow it all out first?

Question by makebreadnotwar: What brand of at home hair dye is best to get rid of blonde hair?
I professionally get my hair died blond every few months, although my natural hair color is a medium/light brown. I’m wanting to dye it black, but don’t know what brand of hair color to buy that would cover all of my blond, and not have it show through. I’ve considered going to a professional, but I’d rather not spend the $ 110 to get it done! Also, if i dyed it once, but wanted a darker result, could I do it again immediately?

Okay, first of all. If you are blonde, you will need a colour filler, so, something like a deep red brown.
It is VERY important that you do this FIRST, if you don’t, you will go patchy and potentially orange or even green! Trust me. And this way, you won’t need to re-tint you hair!
Secondly, if you find your budget a bit stretched, find a hairdressing school in your area that has an open-to-the-public salon and have it done there for a fraction of the price!

But if you really want to do it yourself, then go and speak with a hairdresser!! They should put you in the right direction as to the exact steps to take..
BESt of Luck!

I’ve been climbing the walls out of sheer boredom today,so I went out and did some portraiture. Sad news is that I’ve lost my remote somewhere in the house,so I set this shot up manually and did a lot of running back anf forth. Why oh why I insisted on a low aperture is beyond me. It made life so much more difficult! Oh well. You live you learn! =] & yes,I played with a colour filter or two in photoshop. I fancied something day-dreamy bright :)
