That depends on your skin tone. Choose a colour that looks good on you. If you’re not sure ask the stylist or ask a friend to help you based on colours you hold up next to your face. Do you like warm or cool colours? I hope you have a good time with this. A colour on black hair could be very dramatic.

I love Katy’s black hair. But I think she’s eventually going to change it. Even though she is known for it, all celebrities starlets seem to go through “experimental” phases where they change their hair color. What color would you love to see in her besides black? probably red but never blond, too many pop stars are blonde, but hey any hair color would go great on her with those beautiful eyes, damn it

Like an auburn red. If you go to Sally’s hair supply, they have color samples and you could just match it to your head and see which one looks best. I would suggest you do that before you buy the dye.

My hair looks almost black, but in this picture it looks way lighter. Probably from the flash.
AND! I am tan. I’m part hispanic. Can’t really tell in this picture though, again… flash. lol
Well I told my stylist I wanted black hair with brown highlights and she said it would look bad on me due to my skin tone. She recommended light brown hair with golden highlights. But I want to get other opinions. I’m getting it done the Friday before school starts and I don’t want to make a mistake. I need as many opinions as possible and a few pictures so I can bring it into her.

Your soo pretty! I would leave your hair color its cute. But I would soo put some blonde highlights in it. Maybe a few brown highlights as well.

I know that each hair color comes out different.
If I were to dye my hair ( it’s jet black ) with a light blonde hair color, what would the result be?
I know enough that it won’t come out the way it looks on the front of the box, but a different shade of it.
What color would my hair turn out?

It would mostly likely just strip the previous dye first.
